Just wanted to wish everyone here a safe and happy 4th of July!! I am getting ready to go to a picnic at my daughter's. Also, please remember the reason we are celebrating this great land! God Bless America!!!!!!

Happy 4th of July to all....Rain and storms have cancelled all fireworks in this area of Western KY.  some are rescheduled for tomorrow night  - - -  at least the rain has cooled things off around here.

Well, I got to go to our fireworks after all! I met my daughter and her family out there, and just got back. Great display, and a lot of fun with the kiddies! Just a few sprinkles, but not too bad.

It's raining here too making me not want to go to the display tonight. However I hear a lot of bottle rockets being set off in the rain....
