amish pen pal

I am looking for an almish pen pal.

Must be a girl age 18-25 perfured.

I am 24 and I live in Fort wayne, IN.

If you can find one for me in Grabil, IN that would be wonderful.

Thanks,

Robin

Re: amish pen pal

I also would like to have an Amish pen pal. I don't care much about the age, just 25 or older. I've always liked writing to pen pals no matter where you are. I'm from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area.

When you do a Google search for "Amish Pen Pal", one of the first links they give you is to this website, to a post from long-ago from someone looking for an Amish pen pal.  Often, new board readers or people just stopping by will post similar requests.  Kevin posted a very well-written entry a while back that addressed the issue of Amish penpals.  Please read it if you haven't already:  http://www.oasisnewsfeatures.com/new/node/645

The likelihood of finding an Amish pen pal isn't really that good (unless you become friends with an Amish person and strike up a friendship that way).

sorry about the double post.  it seems I had a glitch in sending it

Re: almish pen pal

I think it would be wonderful to have an Amish pen pal.  When I was in high school I had a girlfriend who moved away and we would write back and forth all the time.  I think that not enough people write to each other anymore due to the internet.  It is more personal getting a letter that was hand written and sort of more personal.  I don't know if the Amish would write to an outsider but for me any penpal would be great.
