Rhubarb Dump Cake

                                                                                     

I am waiting for the house to cool down, this crazy weather, cold one minute hot the next. My first attemped was so good taste wise ( just took a bite) that I gave it to my parents, they are in the late 80s. This next one is gong to be shared with the people that come for the Free Lunch Friday at the Goshen Airport. (Indiana) I think the third one will be for me Yum!!!

This is really a good and easy recipe.  Have made it 3 times already. bought  stuff to make it again.  I took it to a pot luck and everyone raved about it!

RHUBARB DUMP CAKE

3 cups chopped rhubarb

1 /2 cup sugar

1 3 ounce package strawberry gelatin

1 9-ounce Jiffy Cake mix White or Yellow or homemade cake mix

1 /4 cup butter, cut up into pieces

1 /2 cup warm water

Layer ingredients as listed in an 8 X 8 pan and don‘t stir. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until rhubarb is tender.
