Something funny!

Thought I'd share this with you folks...Last Friday evening, I sprained my foot. On Sat. and Sun. I could not put any weight on it, so I was using crutches rented from the drug store. My kids and grandkids have been very sympathetic and helpful. The little ones brought me colored pictures, handmade get-well cards, etc. My oldest granddaughter even gave me 15 cents!! Here is the funny part..last night(Tues) my oldest grandson(grade 2) brought me a "Math Test" !!! He thought I should have something else to do. He hadn't seen me for a couple days and didn't know I was walking again. It was really cute, all hand written...some problems had several zeros. Anyhow I took the test, he graded it and gave a 100%. My foot is healing well, and tho' I'm a little slower than normal, I get there. Next time I get a spelling test...better study up! Kids are just so funny!!!!!Laughing

Re: Something funny!

A funny story with my grandson. No one was able to drive the grain truck to the elevator one Saturday lately. So I had to do that. My 7 year old grandson rode along. I was having a terrible time finding the right gear. Trenton would remind me, grandpa doesn't drive like that!  He is a master truck driver.  He was grading me each load. I started out with a D- - -.I told Trenton well some people are good at some things while others are good at something else. Who would you want in the kitchen making cookies, cupcakes, pies. Oh! you grandma you're the best.  Final load of the day I recieved a B- - -. Trenton ended the day with 2 dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies to share with his brother and sister at his house.
