My first blog post here.

This is myt first blog post here.  A little about me.  First I know my screen name is a little mis-spelledLaughing  The first of it is actually my daughter's name.  So that's why I spelled it that way.  I live in the south.  I have been married to my husband for six years and our daughter is 2 1/2.  I am a stay at home wife and mother.  I enjoy it very much.  I felt a real calling from the Lord to be so.  He has rewarded me greatly.  My husband works in the medical field and does some teaching on his work on the side.  So we get to travel to near by small towns with him when he gets to go out of town.  He does all of his hours on Saturday and Sunday.  So he is home with us five days a week!  We LOVE this so much.  We also homeschool our daughter.  Right now we do homeschool preschool.  She loves her ABCs and counting.  She can count to ten and say her Alphabet.  I love living simple.  Some of my fave things are:going to church, spending time with family, going to thrift stores/yard sales, collecting tea cups/sets/plates, cooking(I love Amish recipes), I collect Amish cookbooks, I love decorating our home, cross-stitching, taking photos, reading, looking for freebies, frugal research, working on my homemaking binder, and playing the sims. Let's see...we also have a cat named Rodger and a fish named Arthie.

I have been reading Living more with less.  I really enjoy this book.  So I have been trying to simplify our life.  It has really motivated me. My husband and I are also working to get our life debt free as well.  This is all I can think of right now.  I look forward to reading everyone else's blogs.

Re: First

Those are good times, when they're young, even when you're tired.  So gratifying seeing everything new through their eyes.  CS
