Amish Cook Gear

I like the Amish Cook items available from CafePress.  It doesn't appear to work, tho.  I added an item to my shopping cart and when you go to check-out it says the cart is empty.  I tried it multiple times and it still doesn't work.  I have ordered on many web sites, so I think I covered all my basis.   What's up?

Re: Amish Cook Gear

I tried a couple of days ago to order a mug with Explorer, to no avail. I just used Firefox with no trouble. Oh boy, is my checkbook gonna be in jeopardy!!! Can't wait for my new mug!!Wink

Re: Amish Cook Gear

I just pretended I was going to buy something and I saw a cart number.  It was in the upper right-hand corner and this information was there:

Having checkout problems?
Please contact us to let us know!
Reference Cart Number 59083055

I'm using Google Chrome as my browser.  I used to use IE and that always worked fine for Cafepress stuff too.

Re: Amish Cook Gear

Thanks, it is good to know what the number looks like and where it is supposed to be. The "contact us" link you show is how I found out that there was to be a number.  I guess you don't get a number if it won't put anything in your basket.  When I go to the CafePress site and select an item there I do get a cart number.  Weird.   -Kay

Re: Amish Cook Gear

Alicia, I can't get it to put anything in the shopping cart either in FireFox or Explorer.  When I clicked on the having check-out problems link it said to "make note of your cart number located in the upper right corner of the shopping cart page", but on my computer there isn't any such number  that I can find.  Surprised The help info does give both an email and phone # so maybe they or Fending can figure out how to to make the magical cart number appear.   -Kay

Re: Amish Cook Gear

I tried both Explorer and AOL, can't get it to work.  I also do not have a cart number showing.  Oh well.

Re: Amish Cook Gear

Maybe you could try going directly to the site at http://www.cafepress.com/theamishcook  Maybe the embedding being used on the site is causing a kink.

Just an idea.  Doesn't hurt to try, right?

Re: Amish Cook Gear

I bought a mug this morning with no problems.

Re: Amish Cook Gear

I test bought a mug the other day and my Dad bought a few things today without issue...I will say, though, check your browser...I use Explorer, but it sometimes is troublesome, Firefox or AOL might give you better luck....
