Baked chicken..

Tonight I made the "Easy Baked Whole Chicken" from the cookbook. It can be found on page 26. It is excellent! As the recipe says, it's easy. I did however put it the oven longer at a lower temp. That made it easier to leave while doing barn chores. I used 300 degrees for abt. 2 hrs. Also my chicken was a little bigger. I urge you to try it, it is good! Sometimes chicken can be mundane. This recipe takes care of that. Thanks!

Ooooh!  I love a good roasted chicken.  If you have a heavy enamel-coated cast iron dutch oven like Le Creuset (mine is Martha for Macys), that makes an insanely tender chicken.  You cannot even get it out of the pan in one piece because is is literally falling apart.  So good.
