The Worst Hard Time....

The Untold Story of Those Who Survived the Great American Dust Bowl (Edition 001)

Well, I hate to promote another book besides The Amish Cook at Home:), but I'm reading a really good book right now called "The Worst Hard Time."  I'm a bit of a weather and history buff, so this combines both.  The author writes a riveting account of the Dust Bowl days in the 1930s Great Plains.  I also just love the Plains, southwest Kansas, the Oklahoma Panhandle, these are starkly beautiful places, so it's interesting to read about what really was a horrific time in this area.  This book is a fascinating distraction as I await the "news" I am expecting soon.  SIGH, still hasn't come.  So if you are a history/meteorology buff, check out "The Worst Hard Time".

Re: The Worst Hard Time....

Kevin, you are really keeping the suspense going!!!!!!!

Re: The Worst Hard Time....

SIGH, I wish I weren't:( I wish I would just get this news I'm expecting...ugh...hate waiting, but, as others have said, a watched pot won't boil...maybe tomorrow I'll get it....
