Re: Media & Events - Updated - 2/4/09

I received your cookbook about a week ago and have read it from front to back and back to front.  It is the most inspiring book I have read lately and commend you on a great job.  I only wish that this world could adapt to your lifestyle and enjoy the pleasures and beauty that God has provided.

I was raised on a farm and remember living alot like what you explain but with electric.  What a joy it was and this book brought back so many childhood memories and wish I could do it now.

Keep up the wonderful way of life you provide your husband and family and I look forward to readind your column in the future

Sincerly,

Linda G.

Re: Media & Events

I totally forgot to try to listen to you last Monday on Sirius! Of course, I was dealing with an issue with my neck & a pinched nerve, so it's not surprising that I totally didn't think about it until I was pretty much pain free.

Kevin, I am going to try my hardest to remember to tune into WGEM tomorrow afternoon!  Maybe I need to go set a timer now...

Re: Media & Events

I can't listen the show today Cry I don't know how to do.....

Re: Media & Events

LuvM, I am going to try my hardest not to forget to have my cell phone ringer on at the interview time when he calls me, thanks for the reminder!!!  I am trying so hard on this book publicity blitz not to bumble any interviews.  After our first book, I remember I had a radio interview with a station in Albany, NY....I completely forgot about it and went to church instead (it was a Sunday morning interview) and didn't see until services were over the 5 missed calls from Albany...ugh....

Re: Media & Events

You might want to have  both ringer and vibrate on just in case......

Re: Media & Events

Hey Kevin want to make sure which Joseph-Beth bookseller you will be at.  There are two in Cincinnati:  One in Norwood and the other is close to Columbia Parkway by the river.  Would hate to be at the wrong one Wink

Re: Media & Events

Well, BK, I didn't know there were two in Cincinnati???   We will be at the Joseph-Beth in Norwood....

Re: Media & Events

Yep, if you google Josph-Beth book sellers it comes up with two in Cincinnati.  I've always heard about the one in Rookwood Commons but never the one close to Columbia Parkway.......

On another note, I went on their web site and saw all the different book signings (including yours).  Did you know Sandra Lee is going to be there too in November?  Of course not when you are there but maybe I'll have to make another trip....

Re: Media & Events

I was looking at the times listed, my calendar says that we change back to standard time the night of Nov. 1st-  So when we wake up on SUnday Nov. 2nd we have "fallen back" an hour.  On the schedule above it says "EDT" for events on the 4th and the 7th, you might double check that.

Re: Media & Events

Not sure about all of them but can say that the tv one will be on day light savings time (yes we do change our clocks in this area).
