The Amish Cook from Oasis Newsfeatures


I just finished reading BOTH books cover to cover!  To say I loved them is an understatement.  But I noticed something that maybe other bakers out there could comment on.  I looked at Elizabeth's homemade bread recipe because the photos looked SO good -- but having baked bread for many years it is the first time that I saw a recipe for white yeast bread that did not call for kneading the dough.  I'd love to try her recipe, but I'd like to be sure about that first.  Any comments/suggestions?
