Re: Amish plowing

Where I live, I see this all the time.  It is breath taking for sure despite its regularity.  I love seeing the men work their teams and the boys too.  Perhaps the most moving experience was to see 13 teams plowing one families field. They were in need of help due to a child being in the hospital.  I arrived to share some home made pasta noodles and finish up sewing lessons with my friend.  The men were all in the fields and the ladies were in the house cleaning up after feeding them.  I marvel at the ability of the OOM and how they help each other.

I have wanted to take photos but I don't want to invade their privacy either.  It is so precious to me to see them work the land with such joy and faithfulness.
