Re: Eco-Bulbs?

I've been using them for several years now and have one bulb in a living room lamp that is more than 5 years old and on continuously. I also bought a new outdoor one for the light by my front door that comes on quicker than the old one it replaced and shines much brighter. The new ones are much better than the old, and for those of us with vision issues, seem to clarify things better than the old incan descent bulbs. I use the 4 watt size in many of the sockets in the house, and they provide more than enough light for the house.

I would check with my trash hauler and see about how they want them disposed of. We have a special area they can be taken to, apparently can't be mixed with the regular garbage.
