I don't think the picture is from 2007, I think it was just talking about how much lumber they had used or worked with in 2007 since that would be the more recent year available for info.

I haven't read the 2 books, but I plan to order them this weekend.  I have actually sold Avon to the a couple of the women who have married into the portion of the family that runs the refuse disposal business & they are our trash people.  I am sure I have probably driven by the house many times, but am not 100% sure where it is.  I do know where the church is that they mention from the split.  And I had always kind of wondered about it saying it was Amish in the name & them having a church building.  I do believe, the more I think about it, that my Amish friend who had electric & phone might have been a member of this church and that could explain the differences between the ones I know from the Yoder area and them - especially since they didn't have to take out the modern utilites in their house.
