RECIPE of the WEEK

My youngest sister, Susan, enjoys making this cake, and we enjoy eating it. Its delicious, its like chocolate chip cookies except thicker and in a brownie. Try a brownie warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream over it. Yum - Lovina

CHOCOLATE CHIP BROWNIES

2 cups of brown sugar
2 cups of flour
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 cup of butter
1 cup of chocolate chips
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
2 eggs

Pour sugar into a mixing bowl. Melt butter and pour over sugar. Mix well. Add eggs and mix. Add flour and dry ingredients. Spread in buttered pan. Sprinkle chips on top, bake at about 350 until lightly browned. Butterscotch chips are also good with this.
