BARBECUE SPARERIBS

2 tablespoons butter
1 cup garlic
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 sliced onion
1/2 cup celery
1 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Melt butter; add onion and cook until brown. Add remaining ingredients and cook 20 minutes. Makes 2 1/4 cups of liquid. Pour over ribs in roaster. Double the recipe makes the ribs taste even better. Bake until done. Last hour, keep basting with sauce. Bake at 350 to 375.
