RECIPE of the WEEK

QUAKER COOKIES

1 cup of margarine
1 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of brown sugar
2 1/4 cups of flour
2 eggs
3 cups of rolled oats
2 teaspoons of vanilla
white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour, salt, and soda. Add rolled oats last. Stir until you get a nice, smooth batter. Chill dough, then make into balls the size of a walnut. Roll in white sugar. Bake 10-15 minutes at 350.
