Craft: GrassCandles
Submitted by LuvMaerz on 4 April 2008 - 10:50am.Okay, I had to share another simple craft that I found in my inbox.... even more simple and very elegant, I think. Say what you will about Martha, but she has some really great ideas. I have subscribed to her Craft a Day newsletter, and there have been some really great ideas this past week or so. Besides the chalkboard pots, they also took simple wooden frames and outlined them with dry beans! Looked very cool!
This craft just calls for a pillar candle, some blades of grass, and a little glue. For some reason, it reminded me that Lovina and family will soon be out there hunting down those dandelion greens!http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/site/mslo/menuitem.0e0eb51a2e6b5ad593598e10d373a0a0/?vgnextoid=c3b7d0f19132f010VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&xsc=eml_crd_2008_04_03

Chalkboard Pots... ingeniously easy craft
Submitted by LuvMaerz on 30 March 2008 - 5:23pm.I really enjoy crafting and gardening, and I found this great project in my inbox today. Super simple and cheap. A can of chalkboard spray paint is $6 at Hobby Lobby, and terra cotta pots are cheap. You probably have some old ones sitting around!
