Voting in Ohio today??
So what is this about early voting going on in Ohio today?? Since you are an Ohoian I thought I would ask?
There is a play on words about Ohioans, fifers and bears in a Veggietales DVD, kind of like Lions and tigers and bears, oh my. That is my ADD brain getting easily pulled away from a serious subject, but that's what I thought of when I saw the word Ohioan in the article I was reading!!

Any resolution to the challenge presented by the busloads of homeless that are taken from precinct to precinct to obtain the registrations and absentee ballots on the spot (S) ??? Sorry to say it but this is an experiment that was either plotted too thoroughly or just did not have the safety features that is needed.
Inegrity here at the ballot box is so important. Everything else falls around corruption of this nature.

Thanks for the answer, Kevin. That is a strange experiment! I thought that election day for the Pres. was pretty much set in stone by the Constitution. Seems like there might be some room for balloting errors to occur too, like lost ballots, etc. Sometimes I think that the founding Fathers must be turning over in their graves at some of the crazy ideas modern policitians have!! Good for you for waiting to vote on the real day.

I'm not sure why they voted today in Ohio, but the morning news were showing lines waiting to do the 'early' vote.

This is a quirky new experiment in Ohio...beginning today you can go cast your ballot for November's elections any day from here on out at your local Board of Elections office...I guess that is good for some people...but, sheesh, I would hate to cast my Presidential ballot today only to have buyer's remorse a week or two from now...I'm gonna wait until almost Election Day until my mind is made up on who to vote for!
