Re: Runion Mix
I did a web search to see if I could find anything for you. Nope. On another note, I had a science teacher named Ms. Runion in middle school. LOL
Re: Runion Mix
It is a breading or coating mix made out of flour, salt, corn flake crumbs, corn starch and baking powder and spices. It is used to coat meats, chicken or whatever then fried. It is very good, but expensive to ship to me. So, I wanted a recipe for it. Thanks for your help!!!

If you know the basics just go for it and make some up, just guessing at what you think is in it, sounds like the ingredients are readily available and not too expensive, just in case you don't like what you've created, you can toss it and start again, tweaking where needed.

Hmmm, the Internet has literally NO info on this stuff. All I could find was basic info...sounds like it is an Amish thing. Next time I go to the Mennonite general store, I will check their bulk stuff to see if they carry it!
Hopefully Kevin can see if Lovina has or can get a recipe for this!! From the ingredients you listed, it sounds like it would be an excellent breading :-)
