This sounds like a great show... I did a little searching, and do not believe that this channel is offered on Dish Network, which is what we have.  Too bad.

Is it possible that the Amish people that were being videotaped were actors/reenactors?  The Discovery Channel does a lot of that sort of thing for its historical-type shows, since obviously none of those people are still alive.  It would definitely be difficult to tape an hour long documentary without showing any people, so I would be they were probably actors.  I think that has also been a challenge for Kevin when trying to fill the books with pictures, right?
