Sounds like you are doing a good job of keeping on top of the sales.  The one thing I found when I checked ads each week was that I actually was spending more for groceries!  So, (sorry to Kevin, the newspaper man) we stopped getting the paper and stopped picking up ads at the stores.

Now I just fill in each payday trip, which is twice monthly.  Our thing is we have switched so many of our purchases to organic and those cost more.  We still seem to have plenty though.  God is so good to provide for our needs!  I also discovered this about myself when I was using ads and coupons, I found that I was relying on myself instead of placing faith that God would provide like the Bible says.  I felt pretty stupid when I figured this out!  Sometimes I think He is up there, giving me the "you finally got that lesson!!!, lecture."  I think it comes from having to really scrimp during our lean years, so I was tending to hoard.

It was tough after our big long trip, we came home to two empty freezers, a few canned goods and no crackers/cereal type stuff.  It took a couple paydays but I think we are in a good spot now.  It is important to have good supply of food on hand, especially you with two little ones! 

To answer your question, yes, I think I am stocking up a little more, as I try to make less trips out with the thirsty car!
