The story is really weird. I think this lady is trying to forget the past and ,of course, it is not that easy. This woman's Amish faith should be informing her that although a Christian is forgiven sins, the consequences of those sins must be dealth with. This woman sinned, and the result of that sin is this situation. I am not sure this is the whole story since it makes no sense. Susan
