I was born in St. Louis and although we moved away when I was 2 (after my father's death), my mother's sister was there until I was about 8 & her brother until I was about 11.  I remember watching the arch going up during family visits there.  But I have a fear of heights, so have never gone up it.

I have followed I-70 from MD, I believe, to Kansas City before.  I don't mind it too much since I don't have to deal with mountains on it.

Too bad you aren't going to be in Kansas City in 2 weeks Kevin!  My son will be fighting in St. Joe on the 12th and we will be there for him.
