We did purchase a few things from the "seconds" area, one thing I picked up was some fabric by the yard.  We did have a really great time though.  Me and our three daughters made our own baskets, while my husband and our two sons took pictures of us, then we went shopping and I bought a basket that they only sell at the Homestead.

I have to say, that we loved your state of Kentucky! We spent nearly a week in your state.  We went out to Rod and Staff in Crockett, then up to the horse park i Lexington, and onto 5 days in Louisville.  While there we toured and my husband went to his conference.  We did take a day trip down to Mammoth Cave via Elizabethtown, Hodgenville and a little of the Amish area sort of NW of the Nat'l park.

Kentucky is beautiful!  Is it always so green? Does it get super hot in the summer?
