I think I am an exception - I hate shopping period.  Hate going to or having garage sales as well.  So just don't do it at all!  Think part of it is that growing up I never got anything new - it was always from garage sales, Salvation Army store or the Veteran's store and it was always 10-30 years out-dated.  I even started sewing just so that I could have clothes that were new & not someone else's throw-aways.
