Hi

 It is $4 a gallon here on Long Island (NY). I just filled up today and it cost me $55 . A lady at the station told me it cost her $80 to fill her SUV.  I think this price is outrageous of course, but it also made me realize that it is imperative for all Americans to cut back on driving, not only to save money but to make a statement.  This price has got to be a hardship on everyone, but especially those of you who live in areas where driving is essential to get to work. How are you coping? It would be interesting to read if anyone is doing something unique to save money. Susan
