Back in 2000 when I was running for a seat in the state assembly here in southwest Ohio I was a little shy when it came to door-to-door campaigning (SIGH, strike 1)....so each day I would peruse the garage sale listings in my district and go campaigning that way...I was a grat way to meet voters because the residents would already be sitting outside and then customers at the garage sale would be there....I thought it might be a very effective way to campaign....Of course come election day I got clobbered, so....I guess that wasn't such a great strategy after all.....but I did get some good deals:)
