I live only a few blocks from the worlds longest yard sale that is held in the fall on US hwy 42.  Never been to it, instead I avoid that part of town for the week-end.  Past years it's been so crowded on the road plus people will park on the side of the street and keep on tire on the road.  Bad idea when it's a two lane highway.  Either last year or the year before someone was trying to cross the street and was killed.  Even more reason why I avoid that part of town.
