Could someone give me the recipe for layered asparagus casserole? I found it in the paper and I don't think I got the entire recipe, because it says there are 6 to 8 hard boiled eggs in it and I don't see anywhere about them in the actual recipe. I don't know if I lost some of it when I ripped it out of the paper or what....plz help.

I think this is what you wanted.
Asparagus Casserole
1 tablespoon grated onion ¼ cup chopped red bell pepper 3 tablespoons butter 3 tablespoons flour 1 cup milk 1 ½ teaspoons salt ¼ teaspoon pepper 3 cups cooked asparagus 3 sliced hard-boiled eggs 1 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese ½ cup buttered bread crumbs
Sauté onion and bell pepper in butter until soft. Blend in flour, then gradually stir in milk. Add salt and pepper; continue to cook, stirring, until thickened. In a greased baking dish, alternate layers of asparagus with the hard cooked eggs. Pour sauce over all, then top with the shredded cheese and buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Asparagus casserole serves 4 to 6.
Brown sausage in an iron skillet, pour off grease-Add the flour and brown lightly. Add milk and stir until smooth. bring to a boil and addmore milk until the desired consistency or thickness, add salt and pepper to taste. Serve over biscuits.

Serve over biscuits? I bet that could make the bumper on a VW bug taste good, like Emeril says.
