For those not on amishcookonline's emailing list, I wanted to let you know about a cookbook special going on this month. There are six softcover Amish Cook titles available for a sale price of $85. Now I have all of the paperback cookbooks and ordered the Hardbound cookbooks off of Amazon. I love my Amish Cookbooks, thanks for writing them and offering them to us. I hope it helps you out!!! :) :) :) :)

I love my cookbooks, buying them not only will help the site and Kevin and Lovina, but along with a lot of great recipes, these books are also a great read, I was sad when I got to the end of the set, I have every book Kevin, Elizabeth and Lovina have ever published and I think they were all worth buying, COME ON PEOPLE, PITCH IN, YOU WON'T REGRET IT........How many times does an offer like this come around, you can help someone else and get something wonderful for yourself at the same time.....

I just received all my cookbooks and I can't wait to read them! I received an extra one though, The Best... Volume 1. What do I need to do to return it? I only paid for the 6 and don't feel right keeping the extra one. What shall I do?

Well put Barb! We all need to get in there and help Kevin!!!! Yes, this site is lots of fun and informative, but I think if we put some of the Amish values (that we have learned here)into play, we all can help save the site and help Kevin.

I got mine yesterday..but posted elsewhere about it. I don't want to repeat myself. (Oh,c'mon people!!! Let's help Kevin meet his really important goal). Okay,so now I have blathered on two posts...I don't care!!! Kevin's troubles are ours too, if we really love "The Amish Cook"...whether in print or online. C'mon people,once again I'm shoutin'from the barn roof here!!!!! (And really, I'd hate to fall off.........).

Barb, that is kind of you and Caryl and I really appreciate it....I think, though, what really makes me so happy about the cookbook situation is that orders are getting filled promptly and accurately via Amazon. I so wish this method of filling orders had been available to me 3 or 4 years ago....

Not sure about that,but mine took a week to 10 days...but they are worth waiting for!!!!!!! I do hope yours arrive soon!

I will be ordering a set this next week to help him to get the bank off of his back and secure the home he's worked hard on. All these big banks getting bailed out by the US Government with tax payers dollars then giving executives large bonus's. I'm disgusted with the state of the economy and my heart goes out to those who work 100 times harder to live simpler. My prayers are with you.

Well...I don't want to stoke anger against banks, but I think it IS frustrting to see banks make stupid decisions, drag the whole economy down and then all they have to do is walk hat in hand to the government for a hand-out while the rest of us are left to our own devices......

I ordered these last night. I am excited to read them,and I hope it helps you out ,Kevin. Would it be at all possible to do a refi with another bank? We have had to do that once. Seems like when you think you're getting ahead..something sneaks in there and throws you a curveball!
