Re: Here We Go - Again....
Just wondering if this two-weeks-in-advance forecast ever amounted to anything?
Re: Here We Go - Again....
Hi Mandy19j...Bellefontaine is a mess that's for sure. Maybe we could find a way to "ship" all that snow to Kevin. It would be a "win-win" situation!
Re: Here We Go - Again....
I still have plenty of snow that I could ship! LOL Yesterday the kids went outside to play. One was wearing jeans and a sweater. The other was wearing his snowpants and winter coat. What a combination. The snowpants wearing has informed me that if it is even just the slightest bit warm on the first day of spring he is wearing shorts! I think he's tired of winter.
Re: Here We Go - Again....
That's it! I'm sick of shoveling snow! I just booked our summer vacation, a condo on St. Simon's Island off the coast of Georgia! Now, if only it could be June...
Re: Here We Go - Again....
Sounds wonderful (and warm!) Gives you something to look forward to and will get you through the rest of this miserable winter! Is that near Tybee Island, where Paula Deen lives?
Re: Here We Go - Again....
Honestly, I don't know. A good friend of mine, her husband, and their kids went to St. Simons a year and a half ago and loved it. She said Savannah was an hour away. I'm just looking for somewhere that isn't so touristy. According to my friend, she said the beach was not very crowded.
Re: Here We Go - Again....
Kevin, you can have all the snow Ohio gets! I've had enough now!
Re: Here We Go - Again....
me too! The kids will be going to school year round this year if the snow doesn't stop....this Bellefontaine girl is tired of being snowed in and trying to entertain the kids while I try to study myself....
Re: Here We Go - Again....
I think Kevin, you are talking about the one that is due tonight. As for me, I've had enough of the white death, come on spring, I'm ready for ya!
Re: Here We Go - Again....
Where are you seeing a storm 14 days away? What part of Ohio?
Re: Here We Go - Again....
Southern Ohio, about 14 days out, computer weather models show a huge snowstorm over us....right around Feb. 26
Re: Here We Go - Again....
thank you kevin....i am SO SICK of snow that i could just scream....lol..hey kevin, since you like snow so much, can i send all of my snow up your way and put it in your driveway???.....lol
Re: Here We Go - Again....
How can they possibly know the weather 14 days in advance??? They can't seem to predict it accurately a couple of days out.
Re: Here We Go - Again....
The one we're having now is enough for me!!!!
Oh and the link only takes us to today's snow, not the later one.
Re: Here We Go - Again....
To Bad the Olympics aren"t getting any of this snow, I hear they need some snow and colder temp. to keep it around.
Re: Here We Go - Again....
It's cooled down some, and it's wetter; the snow problem is at Cypress Mountain which is at a lower elevation just on the out skirts of Vancouver. Up at Whister, sounds like they are OK, it's much higher in elevation and a couple more hours north of the city! I'll let you know how it is after our visit next week!!! Keep in mind too, that Vancouver is the "mildest" climated city to ever host the winter games- average highs around this time of year are around 44F. We would like some of your snow though- we've really missed it!
