The Amish Cook column is written by Old Order Amish woman, Lovina Eicher (pronounced Luh-Vine-Uh Eye-Ker), and is a popular syndicated column in the United States.  Lovina and her husband, Joe, have eight children.  Lovina chronicles her life in a weekly newspaper column. Lovina will describe journeys into town in the horse-drawn buggy, church services, home-canning, baking, and the joy of raising a large family without modern amenities like electricity and plumbing.
